Laboratory Qualifications

SCS maintains relationships with a diverse group of independent laboratories to ensure that we can satisfy a full spectrum of testing and analysis needs.  All of our contract labs are accredited by state and federal agencies, and use testing methods and procedures that are well established and accepted by government, academia and industry groups. Labs must:

All labs are capable of performing good laboratory practice analyses for EPA-related activities, and all domestic labs are approved by the FDA for automatic detection residue analysis.

Service Request and Reporting Procedure:

Step 1: Complete, sign and fax the service request form to our Food and Agricultural Testing division at 510-452-8001.

Step 2: SCS will call you to discuss your testing requirements and prepare a work order for client authorization.

Step 3: Follow SCS instructions to collect and ship sample to: SCS, Attention: Lab Testing, 2200 Powell Street, Suite 725, Emeryville, CA 94608.

Step 4: SCS labs will conduct testing, and SCS will analyze results

Step 5: SCS will send your results within the agreed upon turnaround time.

Step 6: Review your results with SCS, as appropriate.
